Resources for Black Breastfeeding Moms

Black Breastfeeding Moms Week was Aug. 25-30, but it is always a good time to be aware

Black women face higher breastfeeding disparities and barriers than any other group. We’re sharing a few resources that help to normalize the conversation, empower black mothers and birthing people, and create supportive communities. These are just a few of the resources we refer black mothers to at BenefitBump.

Advocacy groups:

1. Black Mothers Breastfeeding Association - The Black Mothers Breastfeeding Association’s mission is to reduce racial inequalities in breastfeeding support for black families through direct service, education, and advocacy.
