Shay Cross (MC): Shay Cross (MC): Shay is a Master’s Level Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor with a background within the school system and a deep understanding of working families seeking a work/life balance. Her work has created a passion for helping others navigate growing family milestones and helping families thrive.
Lannea Adamson (Panelist): Lannea has worked in the field of social service for over fifteen years. She holds master's degrees in both Social Work and Public Health and has taught at the graduate level at the University of Pittsburgh. She is a certified birth doula, published author, speaker, and serialpreneur. Lannea is passionate about maternal health disparities and openly shares her experience with pregnancy loss. She uses her knowledge and experience to help ease some of the stress and anxiety that comes with expanding a family.
Bethel Trask (Panelist): Bethel (Bee) is a mother, military spouse, master’s level Social Worker, life coach, doula, and mindfulness teacher. She has additional experience as an infant/preschool teacher, daycare director, and with school-aged non-profit programs. Bee received her MSW from the University of Southern California in 2016, and along the road to becoming a parent herself to two beautiful children, she made it her passion to help families not only survive, but thrive, through the seasons of growing.
Angela Mizell (Panelist): Angela is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience providing clinical support in healthcare settings, including obstetrics and maternal fetal medicine. Angela has long been passionate about increasing access and understanding within our complex healthcare system and became particularly interested in supporting parents and families after becoming a mother in 2014. With specialized training in perinatal mental health and adoption competency, Angela brings knowledge and compassion to the unique experiences and needs of growing families.
